University of Alabama Student Nazario Pangallo awarded $2,000 national civics scholarship

The Foundation for the Restoration of America (FFROA) awarded a $2,000 scholarship to University of Alabama student Nazario Pangallo following his completion of the Constitutional Study Scholarship Program.

From Morning View, Kentucky, Pangallo is currently pursuing a degree in News Media from the University of Alabama and intends to graduate Spring 2026.

“Our nation has to find a way to unify itself and focus on the common good of the American people. We should work together instead of dividing ourselves internally,” Pangallo said while reflecting on the Constitutional Study Scholarship Program. “We live in a great nation that I believe can return to being the nation that people around the world look to as a dream life with endless opportunities for all.”

Pangallo also noted that he has a part to play in encouraging and educating his peers on the founding principles of the United States.

“I will vote and encourage my fellow students and friends to vote as this is a fundamental right and privilege that we have in our democratic country… I believe I can help to better educate my fellow Americans on their God-given freedom that was outlined in the American Constitution.” he shared.

The Foundation’s Executive Director Christine Altenberger was impressed and encouraged by Pangallo’s insights into the founding ideals.

“Confident, bright, young Americans like Nazario are the future of our country,” Altenberger said. “His knowledge from the Constitutional Study Scholarship Program alongside his passion give me reason for hope in our nation’s future.”
