PONTE VEDRA, Fla. – Foundation for the Restoration of America announced the third round of scholarship winners for students who completed the Constitutional Studies Scholarship Program. The Foundation has awarded $149,000 in scholarships since 2022.
“This program continues to demonstrate that our Founding Fathers and the birth of the United States are topics that are still relevant and vibrant in America,” said Founder Doug Truax.
During this round of scholarships, there was a record of 695 applicants representing 45 States. These students have taken 1,875 Constitutional study courses and spent more than 14,330 hours learning about what makes America exceptional: our Founding Documents and the ideas and institutions that arose out of it.
The $10,000 winner Zachary Liebl and $5,000 winner Laurel Lehn are both from the State of Minnesota. Seventeen $2,000 scholarship winners hailed from 12 States and the District of Columbia, which includes high school, college, and graduate school students.
Scholarship winner Camryn Welch of Ohio shared her gratitude, “I wanted to thank you so much for this amazing opportunity. As a recipient of your Scholarship, I truly could not be more grateful. This scholarship will not only help me pursue my academic dreams but allow me to seek out new extracurriculars and interests. I assure you; I will do my best to pay your kindness forward to excel inside and outside of the classroom.”
Scholarship winner Isabelle DeBry of Georgia noted, “The Constitutional studies scholarship is a prestigious honor which I am grateful and blessed to have received. It is affirmation that the love I have for history, truth, and this nation is shared and celebrated by others. It is heartening that there are not only many who still believe in the ideals of our country, but also support them in tangible ways. This scholarship allows me to not only continue my studies, but also expand my opportunities to grow in knowledge and leadership.”
Since the program’s inception, over 1,250 students have taken more than 3,450 courses, exceeding 26,400 hours learning about the U.S. Constitution. The Foundation has awarded $149,000 in scholarship to 58 students.
Scholarships can be used for private high school, homeschool, college, university, or trade school. The next deadline for upcoming scholarships is December 31, when another $51,000 in awards will be distributed.
